Process steps 

Conceptual Design 

• Initial meetings discussing goals, budgets and timelines.

• Establish design direction and overall project aesthetic through mood boards. 

 

Design Development 

• Conduct site visits to gather measurements and establish existing conditions.

• Draw scaled autoCAD blueprints of project in order to decide upon floorplans, placement and scale of furniture.

• Discuss and agree upon structural changes (if necessary) and layouts.

• Select materials, furniture and finishes for the project according to agreed upon design aesthetic.

• Provide room-by-room concept boards showing selected items in concert with one another.

Procurement 

• Attain product pricing and lead-times for selected materials, furniture and lighting.

• Purchase items, upon client approval and payment.

• Coordinate with sub-contracts to schedule, execute and supervise all necessary construction and work.

• Track shipments of purchases.

• Coordinate delivery/pick-up/storage of purchases.

Installation/Completion

• Coordinate delivery of items to home.

• Coordinate on-site installation of items.

• Stage decor and oversee hanging of artwork.
